What do I achieve by recycling paper?

• I facilitate 85% of the water required for their manufacture
• I contribute to a reduction in energy consumption.
• With the energy saved by recycling a tonne of paper, a 100 W light bulb could be kept on all day for three years!
• I avoid the unnecessary feeling of trees.
• I reduce the volume of waste products. 
• I lessen atmospheric contamination water contamination.

How are paper cardboard recycled?

• These are collected in blue recycling bins taken to a specialised plant where they are classified cleaned.
• Afterwards, they are cut up into pieces bundled in order to transport these to the paper manufacturer where they will be used to make new paper.

Paper is transported our garbigunes to the company Beotibar Recycling, S:L:, which is located in the Boroa District of Amorebieta-Etxano.
