What do I achieve by recycling wood?
* I avoid unnecessary felling of trees.
* I reduce the amount of rubbish sent to the controlled tip.
* I contribute to the non-proliferation of uncontrolled focuses of dumping.
How is wood recycled?
* From the Garbigunes, the material is sent to a specialized centre where it is ground and pressed, to make different sizes of agglomerated wood board for use in manufacturing furniture.
* It may also be used as fuel for boilers.
