What do I achieve by collecting gardening waste?

• This waste is taken to an appropriate place where it subsequently receives the specific and adequate treatment.
• I prevent this waste from being dumped in uncontrolled landfills.
• I prevent more waste from being taken to controlled landfills.
• I enable this waste to be used as a raw material.

How is garden waste recycled?

From the Garbigunes it is taken to a plant where it is crushed, aerated and is allowed to ferment and ripen. The end product obtained is compost. This is a fertiliser sold in the form of pellets and powder.
